Stock  market always remains an attractive and challenging  investment avenue among the investor . Nepali stock market has  witnessed marvelous growth and development  up to now . Investor are mainly adopting fundamental analysis and/or technical analysis  as an approach of security analysis in managing their investment in stock market. Both  approaches fail to  determine proper timing of  in and out  of the market so that  loss is minimized and maximum profit is earned.So financial astrology ,which deals with prediction of price of stock/index on planetary positions, answer on this issue.

I  am  researching  on  this  topic  that  the movement  of  moon and the effects on stock market  .  I  found that  there is  mutual relation  between  moon  and earth not  only  moon but also with  sun.  The changes that happens  on  sun  has  directly  related with  earth . This  article  is an attempt to find bullish and bearish effect of conjunction between Moon with 12 different zodiac signs. The finding of the study may be helpful in taking buying or selling position in different trend of stock market based on financial astrology . It also gives new dimension of  researches on lunar effect on stock returns.

Investment plays an important role in any growth and development of economy. It is also considered as lifeblood for economic system while financial market  is considered as blood-vessel for economic system as it facilitates transformation of saving into  investment,which later on gets converted to production and consumption.Investment in share market is a risky  and  challenging .So  we  are  using   the  fundamental  and  technical  analysis  to predict  the  price  of  the share.The  fundamental  analysis mainly  answer as to which stocks should  be  bought  or sold for the long period  of time .It is based on fundamental factors related with economy ,industry  and company affecting share price movement .Technical analysis mainly  deals with the price  at which one should enter into the trade and exit the trade with stop loss based on statistical analysis of historical data   of share price and its charting patterns.But principles of both the theories fail to determine proper timing of entry and exit from trade so that  loss is minimized and  profit is maximized .However ,financial astrology answer this issue.

Financial  astrology  is  a part of  a broad area of astrology .Astrology is an art and applied science which deals with influence of astronomical phenomena and event s on happening of individual behavior as well as different social,cultural, economic and political affairs of the world .It predicts prices in stocks or commodities or foreign exchange price based on situation of planets ,stars and sign.It is used in  western  world  but  not  in eastern  world .  we  do not  have any  institution   where   financial  astrology   is  studied   mostly in Nepal .  The  theory  of  financial  astrology  is  comparatively  popular  and followed by investor in  western countries as one of  the approach in security analysis .The  root  of  financial astrology  lies in our ancient  Vedas  thousands of  years ago.

There  are many examples that empirically criticize the efficient market hypothesis and prove that calendar/seasonal  anomalies exist  in the stock market returns and volatility across the world . It  signifies that  stock price movement are not random . There  are  number  of  researches  done  to check  lunar  effect on stock  returns across the globe and  time to time .It should  be noted that  in majority  of these researches consider movement of moon in context of full moon to no moon  position and its impact on daily returns .
